Let yourself retreat and reset while fully experiencing what Alaska truly has to offer.  Allow us to take care of the details from cozy Alaskan lodging to healthy, wholesome and sustainably harvested meals, snacks and beverages; daily self-care practices; an Alaskan experience only the locals get; and (best of all) time and space in nature to get back in-touch with yourself and your connection to it all.

 

Your all-inclusive Mindfulness in Motion Retreat includes four meals a day and snacks (we cater to all food sensitivities), daily meditations (seated and walking ), daily morning and evening yoga practices, daily custom massages, and mindfulness in motion experiences in all locations we visit. A special highlight of the retreat is an all-day excursion to Seward for an ocean cruise or glacier hike, and an evening of Alaskan fine dining.

 

To get the most out of your experiences, we ask you to put away your devices and allow this be an electronic-free retreat. Cell phones will be turned off and stored upon arrival. An emergency phone is available at all times. This gives your body a chance to detox from electronics, and reset your natural circadian rhythm. That being said, PLEASE be sure to bring your camera. You will not want to miss out on capturing our spectacular mountain views, nature, and wildlife!

 

We will be visiting the towns of Girdwood, Seward, and Cooper Landing. We have four (4) slots available for this intimate Mindfulness In Motion Retreat. Indoor lodging will be provided for comfort. Once you have registered, we will send you a Retreat Wellness and Preparation Package with a checklist of items you will need, and suggestions for preparing for your upcoming adventure in Alaska. You will also receive a call so we can become acquainted with you personally.

 

Six weeks before you land in majestic Alaska we will start sending short meditations, as well as specific self-care items and ideas to prepare you for your trip.

Girdwood Sleepover

3 - 5pm                 Hike to Crow Creek Mine

5 - 7pm                 Massage

7 - 9pm                 Summer Solstice Celebration, dinner and fire

9 - 10pm               Moon yoga and Solstice meditation

10 - 10:30pm        Solstice evening introspection/discussion *topic* The Magic of Summer Solstice 

June 22nd

All-Day Seward Trip

6:15am                 Breakfast and pack up and depart Girdwood

7am                      Seated yoga and road meditation on the trip to Seward

10am                    Depart Seward Harbor for your Kenai Fjords National Park Tour and Fox Island fine dining

10am                    OR Exit Glacier hike for those who prefer to stay land-based &

5pm                      Dinner at Chinook's Waterfront Restaurant

7pm                      Depart Seward for Cooper Landing

June 22nd Continued

Cooper Landing Extended Stay Begins

8:30pm                 Arrive in Cooper Landing, unpack and snack

9:30pm                 Evening Yoga Session

10pm                    Evening meditation/introspection/discussion outside in the midnight sun *topic* Exploration and Adventure

 

 

June 23rd

Choose Your Own Adventure Day

Today is YOUR day to get out and hike or do what you want, lounge in nature by Kenai Lake, or venture down to the Kenai River. Alaska's many possibilities await your here today! Enjoy unlimited river and nature walks and much more!

Kenai River Canyon Hike and Picnic

June 25th

The Adventure Comes to a Close

8am                       Depart for Anchorage

We will be picking you up in Anchorage, Alaska, on June 21st, by noon. We will be returning you to fly out of Anchorage on June 25th, by noon. Pricing for the Alaskan Mindfulness in Motion Retreat is $3000.00 per person. SPACE IS LIMITED.  This allows us to give you a true Mindfulness in Motion experience that facilitates intimacy and introspection with nature, and yourself. There are 4 spots available with a $1500.00 (non-refundable) deposit due upon registration. A follow-up call will give us as chance to talk about your individual needs, and connect with you personally.
